Time/Magic/Beast
Using images that I have taken of textures and friends as ingredients, this work is like cooking. I layer cut and manipulate images to create digital collages that are printed like photographs. Occasionally, the compositions create phantoms that come to life in a surreal way in the layering process. This imagery has developed through years of uncertainty, and the sun drenched natural world, layered amongst the phantoms, within the greater city of Los Angeles.
